Warner Bros. Discovery Celebrates Black History Month with Chuck Styles Artwork
Words from Lisa Collins (she/her/hers), Group Vice President at Warner Bros. Discovery:
"Celebrating Black History Month 2024: African Americans and the Arts
February marks the start of Black History Month in the US, a time to celebrate the artistic expressions and cultural contributions made by African Americans, both within our industry and beyond. As a global media company, this years's theme of African Americans and the Arts is one that truly resonates.
From groundbreaking films that challenge societal norms to television series that authentically portray diverse experiences, we have the opportunity to create content that tells authentic stories, fosters understanding, inspires, and builds community among our audiences worldwide.
Visual artist and creative director Chuck Styles created this original artwork, in partnership with WBD, as a celebration of black culture this #BlackHistoryMonth.
