Leroy Robert "Satchel" Paige was a professional baseball pitcher who played in the Negro Leagues and MLB. The 2x MLB All-Star and 6x Negro League All-Star was the first pitcher from the Negro Leagues to pitch in the World Series in 1948 where he was able to help the Cleveland Indians win the World Series that same year. Paige also won the Negro World Series with the Kansas City Monarchs in 1942.
