The Book of HOV : The Celebration of JAY-Z

From Marcy Housing Projects to Worldwide success and back to Brooklyn, Shawn Carter aka JAY Z, HOV, Jigga, Mr. Carter, is being honored and celebrated in the highest manner with installations of never before seen images, art, iconic outfits, and memorabilia decorating his successful career in music at the Brooklyn Public Library. This free, immersive experience spans 2 floors and covers every inch of the space including the massive exterior of the library itself which features “Hard Knock Life” and “Justify My Thug” lyrics from top to bottom.

Within the children’s wing of the library is a JAY-Z inspired craft table for the youngest attendees to build paper planes and the teen room hosts material about JAY-Z’s business and philanthropic endeavors, inspiring young entrepreneurial minds.

Last but not least is the video room which presents itself as an Imax level experience as you are completely surrounded by visual moments and audio gems in various documentaries. A final touch that will leave attendees inspired and feeling proud to be a Jay-Z fan.
