Topps Project100

Project100 has concluded. This collaboration was the second between Topps and Chuck Styles. For Project100, Chuck was tasked with creating five cards which were released weekly when the project was live. The players Chuck had for this round were Ronald Acuna Jr., Wander Franco, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Oneil Cruz, and David Ortiz. Each card that was released was only available on Topps' website just like Project100. However, this project offered the base card, deluxe, and artist signed proof editions. Each card in this set was also a foil, which differs from the previous project because foils for Project70 were randomly inserted. As previously mentioned, customers had the option to select the base card. The deluxe edition included the base card and the parallel card which featured the alternate foil details. The artist signed proof editions included the base card, parallel card, and the artist signed artist proof card. Chuck's focus for Project100 was to highlight new and relatively new players. However, Chuck chose to end his collection with David Ortiz who was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame earlier this year. This collection for this project will stand the test of time as life goes on. The artwork shared through these cards will continue to live on for generations. With that being said, I'm sure it's safe to say Chuck hit this project out of the park.
