Inspired by Gordon Parks, Basquiat, and Augusta Savage. So many times we overlook black creatives in the visual mediums during black history month. Photogrpahy that has captured timeless moments during our darkest and also brightest times, paintings that have inspired generations of black artists to use their voice in the most authentic way, and sculptures that would capture the essence of black beauty. We celebrate these creatives.
